Her work defines how art is relevant for today’s society, like every other form of art and self expression it brings hope and happiness to peoples lives. It is inspiring and lets people know they are not alone! She connects people back together and offers support for individuals whilst providing something fun whilst still aesthetically pleasing and intellectually brilliant.

Ahhhhh so the procrasination seemingly is continuing now with blog posts added to the list!
The time has come to face it head on and actually sit quietly with my thoughts and try to create coherent sentences that make sense of the mumbo jumbo that fills my head!

After 22 years of being a practising artist I am now beginning to reach the core of understanding of why and what it is I actually do. It will be so nice to finally have a fluid oral explaination of what I do and why I do it instead of getting tongue tied and blushing because I can’t define using words it is what I actually do, hopefully with this new found explanation I will not get the looks of ‘your actually a bum aint you’ and will be taken alot more seriously as an artist.

Managed to download both the trial for Photoshop and Indesign which should help get my portfolio lifted off the ground!
Must sort out the basics before I can make something eye popping!!!

I chose to submit 2 pictures from my 2010 series Socially Acceptable. My submissions are numbers 394 and 395. I am very excited to see my work made into magnets and also just get my art out into the public. I wonder if the person who finds my magnets will get into contact with me, that would be lovely and if they don’t I would like to try and find them. Bring on May!
